Technology Innovation Forum: Nanotechnology Panel of Experts

Travel information
Reasonable and allocable costs will be reimbursed by the Nano Forum. To ensure efficient processing, we will need you to please complete and return the USF Non-Employee Profile Creation Request by Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Anticipated Travel Costs

  • Domestic - $1,000 cap
  • International - $3,000 cap

Receipts will be required for both airfare and lodging reimbursement. Your Non-Employee Profile Creation Form as well as all travel related receipts may be submitted to us via scanned PDF to or fax to 813.974.2778


USF Travelers will be reimbursed for coach/non-refundable airfare only. If the airline used charges additional fees for checking baggage, USF Travelers will be reimbursed for up to a maximum of two (2) bags. A receipt is required for each baggage expense claimed over $25.00.* Charges for more than two bags will not be paid without a valid business reason. Travelers are reminded that they are always obliged to seek out the most economical overall fare available and should be aware of additional fees that may be added to base fares on some airlines.


There are no contracted or preferred hotels for USF Domestic Travel. Lodging reservations should be made with any merchant in accordance with good purchasing procedures and Chapter 112.061, Florida Statutes. For domestic lodging, justification is required at the time of reimbursement request if the nightly hotel rate (before taxes) exceeds $200.


Catered lunch will be provided the day of the forum. Other meals to be reimbursed at the USF domestic per diem rate.
